Do plumbers always need a SWMS template?

No. You need a SWMS when an HRCW category applies — fall greater than 2 m, work near energised electrical, near pressurised gas mains, asbestos, a trench, and the rest of Schedule 3. A ground-floor isolated mixer swap often only needs a JSA.

Is the plumbing SWMS free to download?

Trial generate and PDF, no card. The Fremantle rooftop HWS example is a layout, not a lift plan for a different cylinder.

SWMS or JSA for plumbing?

Roof, live electrical, gas mains, deep excavation: SWMS. Ground-floor isolated fit-off with no other HRCW: JSA. If you are unsure, read the SWMS vs JSA guide and the high-risk construction work checklist.

Does this work in NSW, VIC, QLD and WA?

State-aware citations (WHS, or Victoria’s OHS Act 2004 and OHS Regulations 2017). Plumbing licences and gas / electrical rules in each state still apply.
